Unflappable
It’s something I’d like to be.
Taking everything thrown to me in stride, serenely, in a composed, self-possessed and self-assured manner.
Believing in myself, believing in the good of others, believing in a higher power looking out for me.
Truly at peace with who I am and who I will never be, and accepting everyone else for who they are. Because who they are and what they say or do no longer affects me.
Until I attain that higher state of blissful Nirvana, I think I really need a solid rock to lean on, a few good friends and a few good drinks.
Someone buy me a Mojito?
